NPE 3: The Matthew Commentaries of Paracelsus part 1

Paracelsus wrote several commentaries on the Gospel of Matthew which belong to his most extensive and important works. The first commentary goes through almost all verses of the 28 chapters individually and provides them with shorter annotations. The second and third commentaries of Matthew summarize groups of verses with more detailed comments. As a physician, Paracelsus often tries to explain certain theological contexts in the light of his natural philosophy.
